個展、ありがとうございました！！

Hi everybody! This is your girl Satsu talking. Talking in English and it is not very often done! yey

I decided to write an English entry this time... I haven't done this usually so far because English is my second language and especially writing and reading suck the hell out of my energy so...(well, no not really, I'm just lazy to do it.) But recently I'm receiving comments from cool English speaking people, most of them are artists (Thank you all!) and they make me want to tell them too that throughout August, I had a personal exhibition in our Asakusa headquarter shop, Caricature Japan.

The exhibition was titled as "芸能くらべ展"(Geinoh-Kurabe ten)/International Comparison of Show-business". The concept of the show was like, comparing and pointing out the similarities of the entertainers internationally, mainly American celebs and Japanese celebs. I am a fan of American TV shows and music. And I thought it would be fun to compare my favorite American stars to my favorite Japanese stars when they have something in common.

I finished 12 new pieces in 2 months. It was my first show as a professional. I was very nervous and wasn't sure if I really can run it when I raised my hand when our CEO/representative artist Kage asked us "Anybody want to have a show at the headquarter shop?" Now I'm glad that I didn't think too much and tried to whip my behind by myself.lol

さてさて、先日８月１日〜３１日まで、
浅草本店にて個展「芸能くらべ展」をやらせて頂きました。

展示スペースにて、アンケートを置かせてもらっていたのですが、
本当に多くの方から、涙チョチョギレるくらい嬉しいお言葉をたくさん頂きました。
